Engineering, Architecture & BIM
From design to completion with the same team: architecture, structures, building services and BIM, plus works supervision, construction sites and technical execution control.
One chain, from concept to project close-out.
Architecture, structures and building services are coordinated inside a single information model. Clashes surface on the model rather than on site, and every deliverable — plans, sections, schedules, quantities — derives from one source: none of them can contradict another, because they are the same thing seen from different angles.
Around the design sits everything that makes it buildable: planning applications and permits, land registry updates, energy certificates and assessments, technical documents for public and private contracts. Then the work moves to site, handled by the same team — works supervision, safety coordination in design and execution, valuations and progress reports, technical control of the works — through to testing, as-built drawings and the closing dossier.
This is what removes the weakest point of any project: the handover between separate practices. Whoever drew a detail also answers for how it gets built, variations are resolved on the model instead of by correspondence, and the completion documents come from the same data the design started with.
Where's the best place to start?
Two separate paths, depending on whether you need to design something or manage a site already under way.
A new project or an upgrade
The result is not technical or legal advice and does not replace verification of requirements, regulations, obligations, deadlines and documentation for the specific case.
A site to start, or already under way
The result is not technical or legal advice and does not replace verification of requirements, regulations, obligations, deadlines and documentation for the specific case.
The model is the building site, rehearsed first.
Architecture, structures and building services sit in a single federated model: each discipline brings its own layer, and the overlaps show up on screen while they still cost almost nothing. This is the order in which we build it.
Levels of detail, information content and the management of the common data environment are set by the information specification for each individual project: we agree them with the client before any modelling starts.
